ICTV: OL Commit Avery Jones Happy To Be A Part Of The UNC Family

The in-state offensive lineman explains the type of player UNC is gaining on and off the field.

HAVELOCK, N.C. --- The feeling of being a Tar Heel has slowly begun to sink in for Avery Jones

"It feels great to be a part of the family," Jones said. "It was my favorite team growing up and it just feels great to be there."

Jones, a 6-foot-4, 240-pound offensive lineman from Havelock High, pledged to North Carolina a week ago over scholarship offers from Duke, Maryland, Missouri, NC State, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest.

"[I am] a hard-worker," Jones said. "I don't really slack off -- I always try to be the best I can be and be the best player on the field."
