In a matchup of Virginia private school football titans last October, Chris Collins was in on a handful of tackles. Still, his Richmond Benedictine squad was routed, 43-7, by Woodberry Forest.
As part of the day's game plan, Collins, a 6-foot-5, 215-pound defensive end, was tasked with slowing down Virginia signee Lindell Stone. Collins had a sack on Stone and was regularly present in the backfield. Still, Stone completed 18-of-29 passes for 382 yards and five touchdowns.
Two of Collins's five tackles were for a loss.
