ICTV Analysis: UNC Adds Versatile Receiver in Dyami Brown

What are the Tar Heels getting in new commitment Dyami Brown? An athlete with the speed, ball skills, and playmaking ability to be a versatile receiving target, according to Inside Carolina expert Don Callahan.

North Carolina fended off several national powers in securing a verbal commitment from Dyami Brown on Tuesday afternoon.

Brown, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete from Charlotte (N.C.) West Mecklenburg, selected UNC over fellow finalists Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, and Virginia Tech.

As a junior, Brown starred at wide receiver and free safety for West Meck. He concluded the season with 49 tackles and three interceptions on defense. On offense, he caught 54 passes for 1,012 yards and a dozen touchdowns, and carried the ball 43 times for 314 yards and a couple more scores.
