North Carolina running back T.J. Logan was drafted with the 36th pick (179th overall) in the fifth round by the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL Draft on Saturday.
Logan, known for his track speed and elite kick return talents, led UNC with 1,584 all-purpose yards in 2016. He rushed for 650 yards and seven touchdowns, caught 29 passes for 244 yards and three touchdowns and returned 21 kickoffs for 690 yards and two touchdowns.
The Greensboro, N.C. native, who ran a 4.37 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, ranks fourth in UNC history with 4,926 career all-purpose yards, 14th in school history with 2,165 rushing yards and owns the school record with four kickoff returns for touchdown. He was a second-team All-ACC specialist as a senior after leading the league with a 32.9 kickoff return average.
