N.C. DE still committed?

While Charlotte Christian (N.C.) defensive end Jeremy Thompson is remaining committed to Wake Forest, he does admit that he would like to look around just a little bit more.

"I am still staying committed to Wake Forest," says the 6-foot-5, 235 pounder. "It is pretty strong after their win over NC State, but I still want to take a look at North Carolina and NC State as well."

Thompson admits that second thoughts should not be a big worry, especially as he was able to take in their upset victory over the Wolfpack. However he would like to take some official visits.

"For me to decommit, I would have to spend some time on campuses and visit with the coaches. I got to do that at Wake Forest, and I really liked what they had. I need to see if I feel better at the other schools."

He will try to spread out his visits to the various colleges over the course of the season, though he will likely not visit anywhere this season.

For the year, Thompson has five sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and twenty tackles in four games. He also has seven catches and two touchdowns on offense.

Thus far, in addition to Wake Forest, Thompson has offers from Duke, North Carolina, and Vanderbilt.
