Marcus Rice is a hard hitting cornerback prospect that would excel in a press coverage scheme. He is very physical and can support the run. He has 28 tackles on the season for Banneker High School in College Park, Ga., and he has a favorite team right now.
"I went to Clark (Atlanta) for a game this weekend," said Rice. "I've
also been to Florida/Tennessee, and UT-C/Samford. I'm trying to get to North
Carolina for a game. Either to North Carolina or Ole Miss. My coach told me that
I have an offer from Ole Miss. UT-C is close, and Army offered me in the spring.
Right now North Carolina is my favorite team. Ole Miss, Auburn, and Vanderbilt
are in there too, but really UNC is my No. 1."
Rice had 58 tackles and 15 pass break ups as a junior.
