Inside Carolina: Did you have a favorite school growing up?
Joseph Stutts: I have always liked Carolina.

IC : When did you first start liking UNC?
Stutts: I guess it started when I was little and I pulled for the Carolina basketball team and then, it kind of carried over to football as well.

IC: Have you visited Chapel Hill?
Stutts: Yes, I went to the Carolina Football Camp and I visited for the Florida State game.

IC: Do you have a particular major in mind?
Stutts: I think I would like to major in business.

IC: What do you like about Carolina?
Stutts: The academics are great. I love the athletic tradition at Carolina. I really like Coach Bunting and think that the administration made the right choice in naming him as the head coach.

IC: What do you think of this year's Carolina team?
Stutts: I think they will do well this year if they keep getting better as they have lately. I think they will go to a bowl.

IC: How has your HS team done so far?
Stutts: We're 1-4. We've been having a tough time against some of the non-conference competition.

IC: What is the strongest part of your game?
Stutts: I do a good job coming off the ball. My strength is a real asset. Also, I am good at pass blocking. No one has gotten by me for a sack this year.

IC: Do you have a favorite college or pro player?
Stutts: I really like Adam Metts and Jeff Saturday. I like guys like Eddie George in the skill positions.

IC: When did you first think that you might be good enough to play Division-1 football?
Stutts: Probably started thinking seriously about it in my junior year of HS.

IC: Does your family have a preference where you will play?
Stutts: They are pretty open. I think they will pretty much leave it up to me.

IC: What has been your best moment playing HS football?
Stutts: Last year in the state playoffs when we played White Oak and I went up against Travis Manigan.

IC: Who is your primary recruiter?
Stutts: Kenny Browning is my primary recruiter.

IC: Which team is recruiting you the hardest?
Stutts: Marshall is recruiting me the hardest.

IC: What are your impressions of the new staff?
Stutts : I have really only met Coach Bunting, Coach Caldwell and Coach Browning. I like all those guys.

IC: Joseph, thank you for talking to us and good luck with the remainder of your season and your recruitment.
