Bowman plans to make official visits to all five of his favorites and should soon have one set with the Tar Heels' coaching staff as they are in constant contact with the linebacker.
"They call me every Sunday," Bowman said. "Coach Powell came to one of my games but it was rained out.
"I think they are doing a good job trying to get me down there. I'll probably be down there for the Wake Forest game (Nov. 8th)."
In addition to the UNC-WFU game, Bowman plans to make other unofficial visits.
"I'm going to UVa's game this weekend (versus FSU)." stated the linebacker. "I'm going to Tech when they play Miami (Nov. 1st), then on the 29th to UVA when they play Tech."
It might seem as if its destined to be an intrastate battle between Virginia schools based on Bowman's game selections, however the four-star athlete claims to be completely open with the Tar Heels having as much of a shot at him as his other five favorites.
With this hardnosed middle linebacker patrolling from sideline-to-sideline, Hermitage High School is maintaining a 5-0 record. During this early season Bowman has recorded 46 tackles which include ten for a loss and two sacks.
