Heels among six leaders for Hall

North Carolina defensive line prospect Marque Hall got four sacks, two tackles for loss, two knocked down passes and, "I'm not sure how many tackles I had," he said, in Forest Hills' 21-0 shutout of Pisgah in the second round of the NCHSAA 2A playoffs Friday night.

Tennessee defensive line coach Dan Brooks took in the game.

Hall now has over 35 offers from various colleges throughout the country, with most of the interest coming from N.C. State, UNC, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and South Carolina.

"Right now I like N.C. State, UNC, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech and South Carolina," Hall said. "My list keeps changing though, Georgia and Georgia Tech are in there as well, but not as high as the others.

"I am not sure who I am going to visit. It may be schools from my top six or it may include schools that are not in my top six. I'll probably decide all that after the season."

On Saturday, Hall went to the Florida-South Carolina game in Columbia.
