"Joseph was really, really a solid player in all three practices down there," Boston head coach Jim O'Brien told the Boston Herald this morning. "He did a great job of scoring and making the proper plays, and I think that he's made very nice strides at the point guard spot.
"And hopefully during the exhibition season we're going to have a chance to play him at the point guard spot, because when we drafted him, we thought - and, actually, Red Auerbach and I talked about this quite a bit - we thought that he has the skills and the intelligence to be a guy that could play some point guard this year and maybe develop into a very solid one down the road. So we're anxious to see that. We know he can play the two (shooting guard)."
