Darity Set to Visit Chapel Hill

Tallahassee's Calvin Darity has kept his college preferences to himself throughout his senior season, but he has finally settled on a final five of Nebraska, North Carolina, LSU, Tennessee, and Florida State.

"I decided early that I would settle on five schools and take my official visits before allowing myself to think about a leader. I have visited Nebraska. North Carolina is up next (this weekend) and LSU, Tennessee, and Florida State will be my final visits," he said.

North Carolina wide receiver coach Gunter Brewer is the primary recruiter for the Tar Heels. Carolina has not used any of their in-home visits up to this point.

Hometown Florida State would seem to have the inside track in signing Calvin but the All-American offensive tackle says that is not necessarily true.

"Location is not that important for me," he said. "It will come down to how I feel about the football and academic situation at each school."

Don't expect Darity to make a choice until all his visits are completed.

Calvin expects to come into Chapel Hill on Friday evening unless plans are changed to take in the UNC/UConn basketball game on Sunday Night.
