Adams checks out Chapel Hill

Butler HS (N.C.) safety Jamar Adams had an interesting experience over the weekend on his second official visit -- to Chapel Hill -- but he wants to find out what will happen with other recruits first before making a decision.

"It went real well. I got to meet their new defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach, and meet with him," he said.

Coming out of the weekend, Adams is unsure as to how the weekend actually modifies his decision.

"I don't know," he said. "I think they had a lot of commitments up there this weekend, and I think Demario Pressley either has or will commit. I know he was talking to Trimane (Goddard), and he was trying to get me and Trimane, while we were on the bus together, to go together to North Carolina."

Should it happen, or even be true, would a commitment from one or the other have an effect on Adams?

"I like Demario and especially Trimane, he was fun to be around just joking around," Adams said. "I don't know because I am still committed to Michigan. I'm going to South Carolina this weekend and hopefully that'll be a pretty good experience for me, too."
