Taylor back from unofficial visit

Scotland County defensive end and North Carolina 2004 commitment Hilee Taylor visited Chapel Hill over the weekend to take in the North Carolina/Connecticut basketball game.

"I enjoyed my time this weekend," Taylor told Inside Carolina. "There were a lot of recruits there. I did not hear about any commitments but I left last night after the game. Everyone seemed to be having a great time."

Hilee became friends with UNC target Marque Hall during the shrine bowl and they spent time together while Marque was on his official visit. "I think Marque was having a great time. He told me that he has five teams that he is considering and North Carolina was one of those five."

The recruits were present for the huge Carolina victory over top ranked Connecticut.

"We didn't rush the court but I know I sure wanted to," Taylor said. "There were a lot of recruits at the game and everyone was really enjoying themselves."

Taylor is looking forward to enrolling at Carolina over the summer.
