Pressley eliminates one

Five-star lineman DeMario Pressley of Dudley HS (Greensboro, N.C.) has finally narrowed things down a bit. Originally, the 6-4, 290-pounder was considering five schools, but has since decided to eliminate one of the candidates.

"I took Virginia out," Pressley stated. "It's now down to North Carolina, Oklahoma State, Florida State and NC State."

Pressley has made another decision. The All-American has determined when, where and how he plans to make his announcement.

"Definitely on Signing Day," Pressley said. "I'm going to do it at my school with my team. I could have went and done it on ESPN but I decided that I wanted to do it with my team."

When Signing Day comes, the school Pressley announces as his future home will be a result of a group evaluation. Pressley plans to have all the people in his life that are close to him help him make one of the toughest and most important decisions in his life.

"Me, my mom, my coach, and mostly the rest of my family, we are going to sit down and discuss the pros and cons of each school and then choose which one is right for my character."

Speaking of pros, Pressley sees countless advantages to choosing the Tar Heels, however two really stick out.

"One obvious pro is that it is close to home," remarked Pressley. "It [also] has my major; I plan to major in computer animation. It has this big beautiful computer science building."
