North Carolina (19-10) vs. Texas (24-7)
Pepsi Center, Denver (Colo.)
8:00 p.m., CBS (Jim Nantz, Billy Packer, Bonnie Bernstein)

"I think the game will be decided by the players, Roy Williams won't do anything fantastic and Rick Barnes probably won't do anything fantastic. The challenge for us will not only be their experience but their depth as well. I don't know that a coach can do anything to counteract that. We just have to find a way to play well." -- Roy Williams

"I know they rotate three or four big guys and they go deep into their bench, so it is going to be a tough game for us. They rotate so many big guys, it is going to be hard to match up defensively all night." -- Sean May

"Brandon [Mouton] is a tough guy who won't back down. He is not afraid to fail and this is his best trait. He will face anybody in the arena and he is not afraid to be good." -- Rick Barnes

"Brian [Boddicker] is very hard to stop when he is shooting well. He is good on the inside, and he shoots well around the perimeter, which makes hard to guard. He brings a lot as far as what we are trying to get done and he brings points, which helps us a lot." -- Brandon Mouton

How They Got Here

Texas (24-7) knocked off four Top 25 RPI teams during the regular season -- Providence, Wake Forest and Kansas (2) -- and finished 12-4 in the Big XII, losing to Oklahoma St. in the conference tournament title game.

They faced a similar opponent in their opening round NCAA game. Princeton's style frustrated the Longhorns as they trailed by as many as eight in the first half, but Byron Mouton (23 pts) caught fire and UT cruised to a 66-49 win.
