NCAA Friday: UT guard Brandon Mouton

DENVER, Colo. -- Mouton addressed the media prior to Saturday's game with UNC.

On having an offensive mindset before games:
"I don't really have a mindset, because I am only concerned with winning games. I know my role, which is to score, but there are a lot of other guys around me who can get the job done also. When the opportunity presents itself, I take advantage."

On Brian Boddicker:
"Brian is very hard to stop when he is shooting well. He is good on the inside, and he shoots well around the perimeter, which makes hard to guard. He brings a lot as far as what we are trying to get done and he brings points, which helps us a lot."

On playing UNC:
"We know their style of play, but I am never comfortable this time of year. Each game is tough and we have our hands full. We have to be focused and intense, because UNC will bring that. We look forward to a great game."

On the intensity perception of Rick Barnes:
"I think a coach's mentality rubs off on his players. Coach wants to win and he sticks his neck out for us, which rubs off. He fires me up, he fires the rest of us up, and that makes us play our hearts out."

On Royal Ivey:
"He has matured a lot both on and off the court. He brushed off on us and we look up tohim for how hard he works. He puts the team first."
