Hickman, who has never visited Chapel Hill, plans to attend UNC's Spring Game and possibly camp at Chapel Hill this summer. However, he has spent some time unofficially in Knoxville to experience Tennessee, his other favorite.
"Tennessee has a good environment when I went up there for an unofficial visit," stated Hickman, who has also unofficially stopped in Raleigh for N.C. State's Junior Day. "They have a good graduation percentage and send a lot of players to the NFL."
Combining his 6-3, 230-pound frame, his 4.55-second forty-yard dash time, and work ethic, Hickman could turn out to be the complete package as either a running back or outside linebacker at the next level.
"I'm hard working," stated Hickman, who accumulated 1,645 yards and 15 touchdowns on 248 carries. "I get the job done, and I'll do whatever the coach needs me to do."
