Athletic Director Paul Dee announced today that Frank Haith, 38, has been named the University of Miami's 11th head men's basketball coach. Haith comes to Miami having worked at several of the country's top programs under the some of the nation's elite coaches.

It has been speculated that O'Donnell will be leaving N.C. State to receive significant playing time at another university. With Georgetown transfer Tony Bethel eligible next season and starting point guard Engin Atsur returning, Mike was expected to receive little playing time in 2004-05.
