"It went great, I couldn't of planned the day better myself," he added "Well, yeah I could of, if Michael Jordan was there or Julius Peppers."
Although they couldn't produce either of his two boyhood idols, the North Carolina coaching staff was still able to impress Hannah by bringing in his favorite basketball coach.
"They had me talk to Coach [Roy] Williams," exclaimed Hannah. "It went really well, because I am a big Roy Williams fan so I enjoyed the day extremely. It was more or less him saying that I had the opportunity to play basketball if the football staff would be okay with it."
Although Hannah wasn't able to workout with the coaching staff like he had planned, he did say he left Chapel Hill with a great impression of the football program and school. He still remains completely open, but admits the Tar Heels have a good shot of landing on his favorites list when he narrows things in a few weeks.
"My feelings are very strong," remarked Hannah. "I'm a UNC fan, but the trip helped UNC a lot with them getting me to go there."
Hannah, who has already camped/visited at Clemson, Oklahoma, and N.C. State this summer, will make Virginia Tech's one-day camp and then head to Tallahassee to visit Florida State. At the conclusion of those trips, Hannah hopes to narrow his list of favorites down to a final five.
