"I went to the NC State and Wake Forest camps. Both camps were similar," says the 5-foot-11, 180 pounder. "The coaches were stressing basic things like protecting the football. I had a good time at both camps. I'm going to Auburn's camp on the seventeenth."
Arnold has received interest from North Carolina, NC State, Wake Forest, Clemson, Auburn, East Carolina, and Virginia.
"North Carolina, Auburn, Clemson, and East Carolina are recruiting me the hardest. I don't really have top three, five or any favorites right now.
"I'm looking at academics and athletics. I plan on deciding after the season probably the end of December or the first of January."
Arnold has a positive outlook on Davie County's upcoming season.
"I feel real good about the season. I think we should compete for the state championship."
As a junior Arnold rushed for 1,921 yards and 26 touchdowns and tacked on 5 interceptions from his defensive back position. He named the conference player of the year after his tremendous season.
