Todd may decide soon

Kentucky signal caller Chris Todd has thrown for over 6500 yards and 76 touchdowns at Elizabethtown High School. He was second team all-state and his team was runner-up state champions. Now, he's preparing to select his college choice.

"I could decide pretty soon," Todd said. "If I go somewhere that has the right fit, then I will probably go ahead and commit."

North Carolina has the opportunity to demonstrate to Todd why they are the right fit in July.

"I am going either to camp (July 16 or 17) or their senior day, July 24th I think, to visit," he said. "North Carolina is definitely one of my top two or three teams."

Todd has picked up additional offers from Wake Forest, Cincinnati, Ball State, and Eastern Kentucky. He has attended camps at Clemson, Michigan State, and Purdue. Coach Gunter Brewer is the primary recruiter for North Carolina and the Heels were the first to offer Todd in February.

"The things I will look for when visiting is how I feel talking to the people there, the quarterback situation, the coaches, and the general environment," he said.
