Brown returns from UNC visit

Although most prospects use one-day camps as an opportunity to earn a scholarship offer, Wilson Beddingfield TE/DE Everette Brown may have a different plan in mind.

Everette Brown, who currently owns 14 offers including one from UNC, used his camping experience at Chapel Hill this past weekend as an opportunity to work with the North Carolina coaching staff on the field and get a better grasp of what they have in store for the 6-foot-4, 238-pounder.

"I went [to Chapel Hill] Friday and finished up yesterday," Brown said. "It went pretty good. The camp was pretty fun, they didn't try to put too much in, they had it pretty relaxed.

"I have been on Carolina's campus quite a few times, and I have always liked the campus when I went up there. I got to talk to all the coaches, mainly Coach Browning and Coach Bunting. They were just talking how I'm a good fit for the program. I want to play defensive end, but at their camp I worked with the tight ends."

Brown is keeping his options open at this point while lacking a clear cut favorites list, but admits he hasn't forgotten about the Tar Heels by any means.

"I feel pretty good about them. I have interest in Carolina. I haven't canceled them out or overlooking them or anything."

During a junior campaign that saw him line up at multiple positions, Brown racked up 110 tackles and 8 sacks on defense and pulled in 24 catches for 400 yards on offense.
