UNC still wants Sexton

Despite landing its first quarterback commitment of the season on Saturday, the UNC coaching staff reassured Laurinburg's Cameron Sexton that he is still welcome. Sexton returned home from a visit to Chapel Hill today and briefly spoke with Inside Carolina.

"Coach [John] Bunting, Coach [Gary] Tranquill and Landon [Mariani] and I watched film for about three hours," Cameron Sexton said.

Sexton said from a commitment standpoint, there were no new developments. However, despite the fact the Tar Heels also picked up a verbal from Tenneesee's Cade Thompson as well, Sexton said they still wanted him.

"I won't be doing anything else for a while except getting ready for the season," Sexton said. "I'll just be focusing on games."
