Wilson to visit VT before deciding

After visiting North Carolina's campus on July 24th, Lawrenceville (Va.) Brunswick linebacker E.J. Wilson, who has narrowed it down two schools, is scheduled to visit Blacksburg in the upcoming week before deciding between the Hokies and Tar Heels.

"Well I'm taking a visit to Virginia Tech," stated Wilson, who claims offer an offer from Towson in addition to the offer from his two leaders. "I'm going to make a decision by football season. It starts August 16th so I should have my mind made up then."

At this point, neither school has the edge over the other. However, Wilson admits that the qualities he admires in one school are very different from the qualities he admires in the other.

"With Virginia Tech, mostly I like their history and I know they are a winning program," remarked Wilson. "And with North Carolina I know their program is coming up and I just like the campus and the environment. And the team just seems like a family environment."

Wilson plays both linebacker and quarterback for Brunswick High School, but most likely will translate into an outside linebacker on the collegiate level. The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder, who runs a 4.60-second forty-yard dash, said the Tar Heels like him at linebacker, but would give him a look at quarterback, also.
