Another double-double for May

Sean May kept Bloomington North perfect en route to another close win on Friday night.

May finished with 24 points and 13 rebounds in a 60-48 victory over Franklin Central and the Cougars, ranked first in the state, improved to 5-0.

North only led by two points at the break, but May scored four quick points to open the third quarter and point guard Errek Suhr knocked down a 3-pointer to give the Cougars a quick nine-point advantage.

May was too much in the paint for Franklin Central. The big man knocked down all eight of his free throws.

North will try to run its record to 6-0 when the Cougars play Columbus North tonight.
