Just over a week ago, Tyler Hansbrough left for a family vacation to Cancun unsure about his college decision or exactly when he would make it. However, after a little bit of time away to clear his head, the 6-9 forward from Poplar Bluff (Mo.) High has set a Monday press conference. Hansbrough commented on the approaching announcement ...
"I've got a press conference scheduled for Monday night," Hansbrough told Inside Carolina. "The time isn't for certain but it's scheduled for six o'clock right now, but again that isn't for certain yet."
To make matters more confusing, a Kansas City news affiliate erroneously reported that Hansbrough would be making a commitment to North Carolina public on Saturday. Hansbrough laughed off the report and said that he would be letting coaches at each of the schools still involved -- Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri and North Carolina – aware of his decision sometime before his announcement on Monday afternoon.
As for his decision, Hansbrough isn't giving any hints.
"I know where I'm going, but I'm not going to let anybody know until Monday."
