Heels to go in-home with Webster

It's basically been a foregone conclusion the last year that Martell Webster is a lock for Arizona.

Not so fast.

North Carolina is making a late push for the Seattle Prep (Wash.) 6-6 senior swingman, who has long favored the Wildcats.

"They're definitely in the mix," Friends of Hoop coach Jim Marsh said. "He eliminated UCLA last week and after eliminating Oklahoma, he's considering UNC once again."

The Tar Heels will meet with Webster Wednesday for an in-home visit. He has already had in-homes with Arizona and Oklahoma and will meet with Washington coach Lorenzo Romar later this week.

Webster has only set up one official visit - to Arizona on Sept. 24. However, tomorrow's visit with Roy Williams and assistant coach Steve Robinson could result in another trip being scheduled.

"I think he'll end up taking a visit to North Carolina," Marsh added. "Carolina is impressive with Roy Williams. I'm guessing they'll be a factor because they are such an impressive program."
