"I like North Carolina a lot," stated Ranier Rackley, who owns offers from Kansas, Central Florida, and South Florida as well as the Tar Heels. "I like them a lot mainly because they are rebuilding. Plus my dad stays in North Carolina so that's a good thing, too."
Rackley would like to research the North Carolina program further by officially visiting Chapel Hill, but is waiting to hear from the coaching staff first.
"I talked to them over the spring, but that's it," remarked Rackley. "I have a plan to go up [to Chapel Hill] whenever they send me. Whenever they want me to go visit, I'll go visit. I'd love to go up there."
Rackley could provide answers to the Tar Heels' need at tailback for the Class of 2005. While leading Jackson High School to a 4-1 record, Rackley has rushed for 533 yards and seven touchdowns on 62 carries.
