Thomas Still Taking Visits

North Carolina 2005 commitment Camaron Thomas attended the Miami-NC State game Saturday night, and he may be seen on a few other campuses before Signing Day.

But for now, the Robbins (N.C.) North Moore fullback/defensive tackle said his commitment to the Tar Heels is firm and will likely remain that way, unless John Bunting, and more importantly Gunter Brewer, are not back next season.

"I'm still committed to UNC but I might take some official visits." Thomas said Sunday night. "I'll probably see a few more before I'm through."

Thomas said he has not received an offer from NC State, although he expects one soon. South Carolina has offered and is still actively recruiting him.

The Mustangs (5-4) have surpassed their win total from last year due in part to the play of Thomas. They had a bye week this past weekend as they prepare for their final home game on November 5th.

Thomas wants to get the word out for Carolina fans to come see him in action.

"It's the final home game for sixteen seniors," he said. "I just want to encourage everyone to come out and watch us play."
