"I met a lot of the [North] Carolina fans walking around and they would say ‘Hey' which was pretty cool. They would talk to me and tell me about my dad, and talk to my dad some. So it was a good experience. My grandmother also went to the game and she loved it."
Not much has changed with Paschal's status. The Scout.com three-star prospect is enjoying the recruiting experience, while also keeping the door open a crack for other possible opportunities.
"Pretty much the same as where I was," explained Paschal, who while committed to UNC is looking into Clemson, Vanderbilt, UCLA, and South Carolina. "I'm still going to go see some game these upcoming weekends."
Paschal isn't sure what will trigger him to solidify his verbal commitment to the Tar Heels and he hasn't set a deadline.
In addition to his travels on Saturdays, Paschal and Charlotte Latin have been working through the NCISAA 11-man playoff bracket. With Paschal's two rushing touchdowns, Latin easily defeated Bishop McGuinness, 49-17, in the first round last Friday. No. 3 seeded Providence Day is next on the slate.
