"I'm having to hold off a little bit now because we are in the state playoffs," said the 6-foot-4, 238-pound four-star player according to Scout.com. "People were doubting us. We are in the third round and play a rivalry game against Hunt."
After an upset victory over West Craven on Friday, Beddingfield will again hit the road this weekend. The longer his team plays, the more it affects his recruitment.
"I was shooting for towards the end of December, but the way things are looking, I'm not going to get on any other visits until January," he said. "I have one set up for Florida State the first weekend of December. If we are in the state semifinals that week, I will reschedule it. It was 50/50 if I was going to the Georgia Tech/Georgia game, but I'm not going to be able to make it."
Brown's inability to take a visit to some of the schools for unofficial trips has had an effect on his favorites list.
"I still have (North) Carolina, NC State, and Virginia Tech pretty high, but I haven't had a chance to get on the Florida State campus or Georgia campus as of yet," he said. "The only out of state game I've been able to catch was Virginia Tech. I went up there to see them play NC State, and that was a pretty good experience."
