Reynolds Cuts List To Two

Tennessee offensive lineman Garrett Reynolds has taken visits to Virginia Tech and North Carolina over the past several months. After visiting those two schools, he knew that those would be his two finalists. Reynolds has narrowed his choices down to two and hopes to make his final decision soon.

"I'm still undecided but I've taken all the visits I'm going to take," said Tennessee offensive lineman Garrett Reynolds, who was originally slated to take an official visit to Nebraska as well. "I've been to both UNC and Virginia Tech."

"My UNC visit, it was two weeks ago," Reynolds continued. "I had a great visit. I had a good time and I know all about the campus now. Virginia Tech was a great atmosphere. I just had a really good time there too. It's making it a hard decision on my part that they were both so good."

Reynolds currently claims no favorites between the two schools, though the UNC staff hopes to change that on Thursday when several members of the coaching staff visit Reynolds in Nashville, Tennessee. Thursday, UNC coaches John Bunting and Gunter Brewer will visit the 6'7, 250-pound prospect. Coach Frank Beamer and Coach Charley Wiles from Virginia Tech visited Reynolds on Tuesday.

Once those visits are over, Reynolds hopes to take his thoughts and his parents and coaches thoughts about his decision and take that into account to help make a decision. "My coaches try to help me out as much as possible without telling me what they would do," he said. "They want it to be my decision. My parents talk to me about it and tell me it's my decision there too. They just want me to be happy."

Although Reynolds believes he will be happy at either school, he hopes to make a decision soon. "I'm just going to try to evaluate the schools a lot and see where I fit better and feel more comfortable. When it hits me, it hits me."
