UNC Commit Will Visit USC

Like most North Carolina pledges, Jason Hill of Atlanta (Ga.) Douglass is looking forward to his official visit to Chapel Hill on the weekend of January 21st. However, in the coming week the 6-foot-5, 247-pound lineman figures to make an additional campus pit-stop.

"I'm supposed to be going this weekend to South Carolina," stated Hill. "I'm still committed [to North Carolina]; I'm just seeing if I'm interested and keeping my options open."

Hill, who speaks to his recruiting coordinator Gunter Brewer every week, declares that the Tar Heels coaching staff is not only aware of his decision to visit Columbia, but also welcomed him to do so.

"Coach Brewer encouraged me to take visits," explained Hill, who is being recruited to play offensive tackle for the Tar Heels. "He told me to enjoy myself while I can."

While helping lead Douglass High School to a 10-2 record, Hill earned First-Team All-City and All-State Honorable Mention honors for his offensive line play.
