Tate Enjoys Official Visit

Brandon Tate returned from his official visit at North Carolina on Sunday even more committed than before.

"It was even better than I thought it was going to be," Tate said. "They always had something for us to do. We ate a lot, we toured the campus, talked strength and conditioning.

"Probably the best part for me was the discussion about academics and academic support."

Tate was also able to get to know some of Carolina's other commitments and recruits.

"I saw Brian Dixon, Bobby Rome, Richie Rich, and some others on my official visit," he said. "I don't know if Rich committed or not but I do know that he was thinking about it."

Tate played wide receiver for Burlington (N.C.) Cummings and that is likely where he projects for the Tar Heels. In addition to North Carolina, he has scholarship offers from East Carolina and Marshall.
