"I had a good feeling about Virginia Tech all along, but when Coach [Frank] Beamer and the coaches visited last Wednesday, that really put me over," Hannah told Inside Carolina after making his announcement. "They brought some film of how they like to use their tight ends and ... and I think will be able to do great things. I just got a good feeling that I could be there four years and enjoy it."

When asked about the Tar Heels, Hannah had nothing but good words for the in-state program.

"They are good people," he said of the UNC coaching staff. "They recruited me the hardest but never made me feel pressure."
