Tinsley Inks With Heels

Where to play him this fall might be a mystery at this point, but there is no mystery where Kennedy Tinsley of Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley has faxed his Letter of Intent today: Chapel Hill.

"I had committed early, so I was pretty confident where I was going for a long time," explained Tinsley. "Basically I had already been a fan since I was a little kid, and then they got my major a couple years ago, Sports Management. So basically that was the icing on the cake."

Initially, Tinsley will get a shot at tailback for the Tar Heels with fullback and linebacker being fallback positions. Regardless, the 6-foot-1, 195-pounder is willing to put in the effort at whatever position he plays.

"I'm a hard worker," commented Tinsley. "I run hard, I can catch, I'm competitive, and I know I have a lot to work on and willing to work. I love to study film, so I'm a student of the game."

Originally, Tinsley wanted to join Cameron Sexton and Richard Quinn as a spring enrollee. However, that plan didn't come to fruition. He now plans to enroll this summer, most likely second semester.
