UNC is 16-6 on the season (6-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) and ranked 24th in the Associated Press poll, 22nd in the USA Today/ESPN coaches' poll. Florida State, 11-10 overall and 2-8 in the ACC, won last year's matchup at Carmichael, 80-78 in overtime.
Fans attending Monday's game can hop a ride on a free shuttle to get from the Bell Tower lot to Carmichael Auditorium and back. The Bell Tower lot, which is off of South Road adjacent to the Kenan Football Center, offers ample free parking for all UNC women's basketball home games. To reach the lot from Carmichael Auditorium, drive west on South Road and turn left at the second stoplight past Carmichael.
Shuttle service begins one hour before tipoff for all of UNC's remaining home games. In addition to Monday night's battle with Florida State, the Tar Heels will host Villanova on Wednesday at 7 p.m., Clemson on Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. and Duke on Feb. 24 at 4 p.m. The game against Duke originally was scheduled for the Dean E. Smith Center, but will be played at Carmichael.
Tickets to UNC women's basketball games are $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors. There is no charge for admission for children 12 and under. North Carolina students, faculty and staff are admitted free with their UNC
