Opening Statement:
"They shot 60 percent because they are good shooters, good players and they were open. In the second half they missed some where they were still open but we did a better job of guarding them a lot of times, cut down on their second shot opportunities that I thought we gave them too many of in the first half. For us offensively, needless to say we were more effective moving the ball and moving ourselves. But I said all along that Florida State is extremely gifted. Some nights when they put it together, they can really be good, and they were for the first half tonight. I liked our teams toughness to come back and I think the ‘want to' was really there in the second half."

What was your biggest concern at halftime?
"We just didn't guard. One thing that was bad for us was when Alexander Johnson got in foul trouble because of the substitutions they gave us bad match-ups. It was difficult for Sean [May]. Defensively, we just didn't do anything like we've been doing all year or anything that we've been practicing."

On David Noel's assists:
"It was something we said with Rashad [McCants'] 26 minutes; somebody has got to get them and those guys are who are getting them need to step up and I think that David [Noel], in the last two games particularly, has really done that on the offensive end. He gives us pretty solid defensive play all the time. I think you just feel good for him."

On McCants' situation:
"Rashad is not ready to play. The doctors have not told me he's ready to play. He is not practicing. Our basketball team played their butts off in there and Rashad McCants is an extremely big part, but we can only say so many times, ‘When he's healthy, he'll be back.'"
