UNC checks out another local talent

North Carolina assistants Doug Wojcik and Fred Quartlebaum were at the West Forsyth H.S. (N.C.) gym Friday night.

West beat Winston-Salem (N.C.) Reynolds, 59-36.

But the Tar Heel coaches were there to watch Reynolds junior Reyshawn Terry, a 6-7, 215-pound wing.

The athletic leaper was the leading scorer and rebounder at local Glenn H.S., before transferring to Reynolds for second semester -- and will be someone to keep an eye on this spring and summer.

Also in attendance was Wake Forest head coach Skip Prosser, scouting West's talented junior point guard Chris Paul, who had a game-high 19 points.
