"Basically he's going to visit Carolina, make a decision on an official or unofficial to Maryland and he'll sit down and make a list to compare the four schools," Montrose assistant David Adkins said. "Then he'll make a decision."
The visit had tentatively been set with UNC for May 7th, but will now be a week earlier.
To recap, Echefu has visited Kentucky and Florida State. Maryland remains in the mix as well.
The Kentucky visit was a good one and the Wildcats, despite signing some guys this spring, are still in hot pursuit. "Kentucky's still in there," Adkins said. "They said that they'd love to have him."
Florida State hasn't skipped a beat either. They'll dispatch an assistant to campus on Friday to make contact with Echefu.
"Florida State is coming on Friday," Adkins said. "Florida State has been there the longest, for 8 straight months. With Coach Jones' words of wisdom they've done a great job on the phone."
