John Clougherty, a 30-year veteran Division I basketball referee, has been named the ACC's coordinator of men's basketball officials. The announcement was made Tuesday by the league. Clougherty, 61, replaces Fred Barakat, who relinquished the supervisor's duties to concentrate on scheduling, developing the league's TV package and directing the ACC Tournament.
