Williams must replenish North Carolina's roster through recruiting, a task that has him watching some of the nation's top high school players this week. On Thursday afternoon, he saw games featuring highly ranked 2005-06 seniors Brandan Wright (6-foot-10 of Nashville, Tenn.) and Spencer Hawes (6-11 of Seattle). Today, Williams will head to Teaneck, N.J., to watch other top players in Reebok's ABCD camp.

"I'm [going to UNC] to play, but if the opportunity had come up for me [as a high school senior] and I was a lottery pick, I probably would have gone."
