Felton earns MVP honors at Roundball Classic

Tar Heel signee Raymond Felton was named Co-East MVP, as he guided his squad to a 115-103 win in the EA Sports Roundball Classic all-star game at the United Center in Chicago on Tuesday night. Felton posted 21 points, six assists, four steals and three boards.

He shared the honor with Jason Fraser, who posted 10 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks. Lenny Cooke also added 21 points for the East.

"There really isn't much more we can say about Ray, but we'll try this," wrote PrepStars.com's Eric Bossi postgame. "Halfway through the third quarter we were talking about what a quiet a night he was having, and all Ray did was tie for scoring honors with 21 points on a variety of bombs and jams and take home the co-MVP for the East. He did struggle at times to get his shot against pressure, but his clutch play and team-high six assists -- plus four steals -- were very impressive."

Duke recruit Sean Dockery was named MVP of the West team, with 14 points, 10 assists and five rebounds.
