It's early in the process for Horne. Just a few months ago he had trouble listing any schools that were in contact and now he has three big time favorites.
"I am really interested in UNC, Georgia Tech and Arizona," Horne said. "Those are my main three right now."
He is hearing a lot from the Cats and Yellow Jackets, but so far the defending national champions have not contacted him. Despite a lack of communication, he likes the Tar Heels quite a bit.
"UNC, they are just prestigious and I would love to be part of their program," Horne said.
The Jackets have an edge for their early contact.
"Georgia Tech, they were the first to contact me," Horned explained. "I really appreciated that out of Paul Hewitt."
Like most recruits who list the Cats, Horne is attracted to the up-tempo game the Wildcats employ.
"I just like their style of play," Horne said. "They just run and gun, that's what I like right there. I like to get up and down."
Since he is just starting to really make a name for himself he is in no rush to make a decision or trim things down. He is taking some time to see what is out there and what his options are.
"I am just taking it all in right now," he said. "It is still new to me, so I am just taking it as it comes. I am just trying to keep progressing, that is my main goal right now."
