Class of 2003 - OL/DL Matt Miller

Matt Miller is 6-foot-3, 290 pounder who plays offensive and defensive line for Coach Terry Meeks' Radiers at Atlee High School in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Matt is drawing a lot of attention, and for good reason.

Matt Miller plays offensive and defensive lineman for Coach Terry Meeks at Atlee High School in Mechanicsville, Virginia.  Matt is drawing a lot of attention, and for good reason.  He played both ways his junior season, earning All-District honors for his play on the defensive line.  He also earned Honorable Mention All-District for his offensive line play.

Terry Meeks

Matt's stats for his junior season on defense were: 70 tackles, five sacks, 12 tackles for loss, and 3 fumble recoveries.  Matt also earned defensive line All-District honors his sophomore year and his two year totals on defense include: 125 tackles, eight sacks, 18 tackles for loss, and three fumble recoveries.  Matt's totals could be higher, but he only played offensive line his freshman year.

Matt is also a track star for the Raiders.  He was District Champion for the shot put and the discus his sophomore season, and recently defended his shot put District Championship in Indoor Track as a junior. 

Matt plans to attend the Syracuse, Tennessee, Virginia and Wake Forest football camps this summer.

Matt's early list of schools in his order, include:  Tennessee, Syracuse, Virginia, Maryland, Wake Forest, Penn State, Indiana, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, and Stanford. 

He has already attended junior day at Syracuse and Wake Forest.
