Williams: 'Everything Was Great'

While still committed to Illinois, Isiah Williams decided to take an official visit to North Carolina over the weekend, and the four-star quarterback from Chicago, Ill. came away impressed with the trip.

"It went pretty good; everything was great," Williams said. "They showed me the most respect while I was there. They let me just be around the team, the day before the game, the day of the game, and the day after the game.

"They showed me the facilities, the campus, the classrooms, and I got to meet the professors. It was all great."

While Williams enjoyed his visit, the No. 5-ranked quarterback in the nation and the top signal-caller in the Midwest says he just wants be comfortable in his commitment to Illinois.

"I am visiting mainly to make sure," he said. "I think I owe it to myself to see what everybody else has to offer and make sure that I am 100% solid.

"I just need to make sure."

Besides an official visit to Illinois (12/9), Williams says may take a trip to Tennessee (12/2) and possibly another school before an ultimate decision is reached.

"I am waiting. I am still committed to Illinois, but I will finalize my decision. That will just be whenever I get that feeling, I sit down and talk to my parents and coach to make a decision."
