Holley, a junior from Roselle, N.J., led the Tar Heels with 47 catches for 670 yards and one touchdown. He narrowly missed out on second-team honors, falling short by just two votes.
Davis, a senior from Dudley, N.C., had a standout season with a team-best eight sacks, the most by a Tar Heel since Julius Peppers recorded 9.5 in 2001. He ranks sixth in the ACC with .73 sacks per game.
Richardson, a senior captain from Miami, Fla., led the team with 91 tackles and is ranked sixth in the ACC with 8.3 tackles per game. He had 6.0 tackles for losses, 1.5 sacks, one interception, four pass breakups, five quarterback hurries and led the ACC with three fumble recoveries.
Tate, a true freshman from Burlington, N.C., was among the top return men in the nation all season. He ran back the opening kick of the Utah game 96 yards for a touchdown and averaged 25.8 yards on kickoff returns and 9.2 on punt returns.
