Lekavicius - a name to remember

With Chris Paul headed to Wake Forest, the North Carolina staff is surveying the 2003 point guard field.

While it's unclear whether or not the Heels will heavily pursue another 2003 floor general, they are checking out who is out there.

IC's Clint Jackson profiled Linas Lekavicius today at ACCToday. Attending Charlottesville (VA) Miller School, Lekavicius was receiving interest from NC State, Wake Forest and West Virginia -- but more and more big name schools are getting a chance to watch him play, and they like what they see.

In fact, the North Carolina staff recently inquired about him, and may make the trip to watch him play sometime soon.

Trying to keep his legs loose between runs, Lekavicius showed he could rise on the adjacent courts. Doing two-handed reverse dunks, tomahawks and a one-handed power jam. The kid has it all. He's got speed, he's got the ups and take one look at his arms and you'll quickly remember those old SoloFlex commercials that used to run on your television screen.
