Inside Carolina: Thanks for talking with us Roy. Did you have a favorite team growing up?
Roy Norfleet: I like the Cowboys as far as the pros and VaT was my favorite college team when I was little. People compare me some to Ray Lewis for the Ravens so I have been following him lately.

IC: Did you have a favorite player growing up?
Norfleet: Emmitt Smith was my favorite player growing up.

IC: Have you ever visited Chapel Hill?
Norfleet: No, but I look forward to visiting.

IC: Do you plan on camping there?
Norfleet: Our entire team is coming down for team camp so I'll get a chance to look around some then.

IC: Have you seen UNC play on TV?
Norfleet: Yes.

IC: What did you think?
Norfleet: I really like the way they play, especially on defense.

IC: Who is your primary recruiter from UNC?
Norfleet: Coach Browning

IC: Have you met any of the UNC staff?
Norfleet: Not yet. I have talked to Coach Browning some over the phone.

IC: What did he say to you?
Norfleet: He encouraged me to work hard in the classroom and that he was really looking forward to seeing me at camp this summer.

IC: Do you have a particular major in mind for college?
Norfleet: I'd like to major in business.

IC: Have you talked with any of your team members about attending the same school?
Norfleet: I think it would be great if some of us could go to the same school. I know Alex (King) and I have talked some about that.

IC: What do you like about Carolina?
Norfleet: I like the football team and I heard that they were strong in academics.

IC: How well did your HS team do last year?
Norfleet: We were 9-1 last year. We finally beat Deep Creek HS, who we've had trouble beating in the past.

IC: When did you first think that you would play division-1 football?
Norfleet: I think I had a pretty good idea when I was around 8 years old that one day I would play in college.

IC: Who is recruiting you the hardest?
Norfleet: I'd say ECU.

IC: Thanks for talking with us Roy. We'll talk again after camp.
