Junior KY LB Will Visit UNC

After a solid performance at the U.S. Army All-American Junior Combine in San Antonio, Texas., Brent Slusher has been on the road making multiple stops for junior days.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound, tight end/linebacker from Bell County High in Pineville, Ky., has a busy February and March ahead of him according to his mother, Stacie Slusher.

"Brent is going to North Carolina for a visit (2/25), because he can't make their junior day," she said. "He is going to Clemson's junior day (3/4) and he will be at Kentucky (3/5). On (3/25) he will be at Florida State."

Slusher pulled in 14 receptions for 353 yards and five touchdowns from the tight end position his junior year. He averaged 25 yards per reception for his (10-3) Bell County team.

Playing linebacker he came just short of establishing a new school record for total tackles in 2005. He recorded 102 solo stops, had 31 assists and four sacks. He also forced four fumbles, recovering one, and he intercepted four passes.

Slusher will participate in the Scout.com All-American Combine at the Univeristy of Louisville on May 20.
